The Acute Rehabilitation Center addresses physical or medical problems, difficulties with daily living, and specialized problems with feeding, communication, attention and self care. Services are provided for patients with some of the following disabling illnesses or injuries: stroke, closed head injury, spinal cord injury, hip fractures and replacements, amputations, multiple sclerorsis, Parkinson's Disease, cancer and more. Our Lab features the Siemen's Angiostar Plus imaging system. This system provides reliable, highly detailed images that improve diagnostic confidence. It also allows lower radiation doses than conventional imaging. Emergency Center
Ohio Valley's Emergency Center is staffed 24-hours a day, 365 days a year with doctors and nurses who are trained to save lives. Our Center is a state-of-the-art facility afforded by a $2.5 million renovation completed in March 1998. Special features include a centralized nursing station allowing nurses to visually monitor all major patient care areas simultaneously; fully equipped rooms which allow privacy; a technologically advanced cardiac/trauma room; and a special hazardous material bay for decontamination for patients exposed to hazardous materials.
